Director of the practice is David Andrews. As well as a first Degree in Pychology, David has undertaken intensive postgraduate training in Person Centred Counselling, the theory of which was originally developed by Carl Rogers (1902-1987) in America. We explain this approach to Counselling in more detail on 'Our Philosophy' pages. See the link at the bottom of this page.

All our training in Person Centred Counselling required extensive research and study of the subject areas listed below. Our work today also requires an ongoing committment to personal Psychotherapy over an extended period of time.

• The 'core conditions' of counselling.
• The approach to personality and behaviour development.
• The therapeutic process.
• The Development of a Professional Counselling Practice.
• Understanding and Using Research in Counselling.
• Counselling approaches and social contexts.
• Counselling approaches to issues of mental health and psychopathology.
• Reflexivity and professional practice.

Deciding to avail of our services, you are assured of Counselling at the highest level of quality, experience, and professionalism. To read about our approach and the philosphy behind Person Centred Counselling, please click on the link below.
